The Performing for Seniors Program (PSP) was founded in late 2021 with the goal of providing companionship to residents in senior homes across the greater Seattle area. Through a variety of performances, PSP aims to bring the emotional needs and foster a sense of familiarity and belonging. Over the past more than three years, PSP has brought joy to numerous senior homes, made possible by the dedication of our young volunteers and their families.
Beyond emotional support, PSP also raises public awareness and funds for non-profit healthcare centers and geriatric research. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for seniors and build a more connected and compassionate community.
PSP offers children a platform to showcase their talents, building their confidence while nurturing empathy and a sense of accomplishment. Through performances and community engagement, they build leadership and problem-solving skills while gaining a deeper appreciation for compassion, commitment, and giving back.
We welcome young performers year-round! If you're between 4 and 18 years old and have a talent for singing, dancing, instrument, Kung Fu, or other performing arts, PSP would love to have you join us.
Terms and Conditions
Parents of young program members are solely responsible for their safety and behavior during events or entrust other entitlements to them. In case of emergency, parents need to contact the event organizer promptly.
