This computer drive is organized by the STEM group in Little Masters Club and First Lego League team Marshmallow Pandas. You can donate used computers to help kids in need. Especially in this remote learning situation, many children cannot attend online school because they don’t have a device. That is why Bridging Tech collects used computers, fix them and clean out their data, and send them to children.
Developed by MIT Media Lab, Scratch is the programming language most suitable for kids to learn computer programming skills. This event is organized by Little Master Club with First Lego League Team Marshmallow Pandas. The kids from Marshmallow Pandas will explain the basics of Scratch, then use fun projects to teach students to using dialogue, music and cartoons. As students design Scratch projects, they learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively. It is also good opportunities for kids to socialize during Covid pandemic.
This Python Introduction Class is organized by Little Master Club with First Lego League Team Marshmallow Pandas. The kids from this Robotics team will teach the basics of Python, as well as fun projects such as drawing graphics and a text-based Turkey game. The class helps students by increasing their interest in computer programming. It is also good opportunities for kids to socialize during Covid pandemic.
#安康支教 Day 1# 今年我们的孩子带来了足球，机器人，羽毛球，舞蹈，英文等活动。刘营小学的孩子们强烈的求知欲给小老师们留下了深刻印象。两年前觉得山里的孩子不注重英文，今年从校长到老师都很关注英文教学，希望有机会能学习更多英文教案。小老师来自美国，北京和景德镇。一上课，美国小老师的中文词汇量就露馅了，用词口语化，会出现英文直翻的情况。希望后几天越来越流利。来安康之前做好了战高温准备，没想到一下火车气候怡人，感恩老天的眷顾。非常感谢中心校领导的支持和刘营小学校长及老师认真的筹划准备，老师们晚上8点才陆续离开校区，感恩每年的活动能得到校方的支持是我们孩子的福气。第一天在欢乐的拔葱活动中结束。

We are a local rookie FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team 7461, Binary Circles.
During our time we will be mainly spreading STEM and inspiring others to be engineers and leaders which is what our organization, FIRST, is all about.
After our presentation, we will demo our robot and interact with others who have more questions.
