Summer Youth Seminar – Cooking Lesson: Basque Cheesecake

Basque Cheesecake. It is a very simple cheesecake with its unique caramelized flavor on the outside. The interior is similar to New York cheesecake but creamier. Come have a fun time with our young chef Allan and learn how to make this perfect desert for the summer!

Ingredients: flour, eggs, sugar, cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, optional: vanilla. The cooking process involves parchment paper, scissors, rubber spatula, mixer(hand mixer, kitchen aid, or whisk), 6-in cake pan, oven. Optional: strainer/sifter.
